How we engineer

Four principles we design by.

01

Right first time

We correlate models to test data, then iterate virtually so the design passes its standard before parts are made.

Ceiling-fan CFD: 90+% correlation with physical tests
02

Lighter, with proof

We take weight out only where the analysis shows the safety margin stays intact.

Motor housing: up to 10% lighter with a similar factor of safety
03

Simpler beats added parts

We look for geometry and layout changes before adding mechanisms, mass or parts.

Crane stability solved with an articulated-joint design, not added counterweight
04

Designed for total cost of ownership

We weigh installation, operation and service effort, not just part cost.

Stacker reclaimer: commissioning work time reduced by two thirds

Why Timetooth

Senior engineering depth, a time-zone head start, and capacity without the hiring cycle.

Capacity without headcount

Add experienced design, simulation and test engineers to your team without adding headcount. Fixed-price, scoped projects, so you know the cost before we start.

Overnight turnaround

Our working day runs while yours is offline. Send inputs in the evening; pick up results, plots and notes when you start.

Deep simulation bench

Simulation is our core, not a side service, led by a co-founder who previously led multibody simulation applications at Altair. Catch issues in simulation before you pay for prototypes and retests.

Certified processes

AS9100D (including ISO 9001:2015) and ISO 13485 certified quality management. Member of NAFEMS, including technical working groups building multiphysics and multibody benchmark collections.
